“We’ve never caught so many fish,” was one of the excited comments. “I didn’t realize Pelican Lake was so big, clear and beautiful,” was another.

“I’ve never fished on Pelican before. I love it,” one resident said. “This lake is so big,” said another. “I like watching the plane land and take off.” (A float plane touched down and took off twice from the lake as we watched.)

“She is from Almond House and must have thanked us 50 times. She caught the first fish and was told the rule on my boat was you had to kiss the first fish. As you can see she would not do it, but she kissed her finger and touched the fishes mouth!!”
